Tank Rush is a PC game where players take control of their own tank. They'll fight through various levels of tank warfare, attempting to destroy all opposing forces. Unfortunately, the game seems like an unfinished Flash game with very little depth. Players might take a chance on this one due to its low price tag. Most players will walk away from the game with a bad taste in their mouth, though. Few games get so many things wrong, and this one feels like a chore from start to finish.

What Is Tank Rush All About?

Technically speaking, Tank Rush does come with a story behind its warfare. General Sherman and his loyal forces have conspired against America. Your unnamed tank commander must stop Sherman before he takes down the United States. Sadly, Tank Rush provides this basic concept and then goes nowhere with it. Subsequent levels in the game don't reveal more information, and there's no progression to be had here. Some players might find the concept intriguing, but the plot never thickens from the start.

A Game That Doesn't Meet Modest Expectations

Each level starts off in the same fashion with your single tank. You'll spawn in the center of a side-scrolling map. Tanks will appear and lob occasional shots at your vehicle. From there, you're supposed to fire back and destroy tanks without getting hit too many times. Enemy tanks go down in waves with a few shots each, and you'll feel invincible throughout the process. Tank Rush is bugged to where you cannot lose your life from enemy fire. Dying is practically impossible in this lackluster game.

Finding Many Broken Elements In This Game

In fact, even the game's achievements are bugged and won't unlock properly. Dozens of players have complained about the achievement system. Many people point out the game feels unfinished from the moment gameplay begins. It's hard to argue against these opinions after playing a few rounds of Tank Rush. After beating the game's boring levels, players may want to consider requesting a refund. The gameplay is uninspired, and dozens of other tank-based games provide a better playing experience.

The Final Verdict On Tank Rush

Tank Rush might be the worst game ever released for PCs. Quite a few people seem to agree with that general sentiment. In the end, it's difficult to find something positive to say about this game when it does so many things poorly. Casual game fans can find better Flash games that involve tanks. Enthusiasts can find realistic tank warfare through plenty of other titles as well. For these reasons, Tank Rush isn't a recommended game, and players shouldn't even take a chance on this one.
